A journal writer since day dot, writing has always been my ‘thing’. To me, the written word is not only a way of communicating, but also a means of relaxation, clarifying and personal development.
And it’s that combination of writing and personal development that forms the basis of what we do here.
A writer first, and a business owner second, I founded Treetops Communications with the desire to do more of what comes naturally – writing. And to give that tool to others – working to make a real impact on businesses and individuals, through writing, workshops and coaching.
Naturally for me, I studied languages at University. Launching into the business world soon after, I worked at WHSmith for 9 years as an IT Project Manager. It was at the end of my time there that I came into contact with a Business Transformation team, and became enthused and excited by the possibilities they voiced – the possibility of discovery, growth and change.
I left the organisation and embarked on training to become a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, gaining the qualification in 2003. Treetops Coaching was born soon after, coaching solicitors, teachers, business owners, teenagers, CEOs, and others!
After a break in 2003 to have my second child, I realised my dream to start writing professionally, writing regularly for several local publications, as well as creating the manuscript for my first book. Treetops Communications was born.
